It rained in the AM, so we slept late.  Went decided to go to  Hand's to purchase a Smokey Joe grill and ended up buying a bunch of other crap, including a Jersey Shore puzzle.

We hung at the house, assembled grill, puzzle and when the weather cleared up we brought our G&T's to the beach.

I grilled up some Pork Chops on the brand new Smokey Joe, Liz made Wild Rice and green beans for dinner cooked.

We rode bikes to the Fox's to say goodbye to Lorraine and Mario.  John and Deanna watched Jersey Shore.  We drank and BS'd on the deck.  John accused Liz of voting for Obama.

Went to beach but we got rained off and decided to go shopping.

Went shopping off Island at the Shop Rite.  Had dinner at El Tenampa, a Mexican restaurant that was pretty bad.  We had asked people in the parking lot if it was good and they raved.  We thought it sucked.

Beach day.  Flies on the beach got real bad by late afternoon and we had to leave.  The flies ignored Deep Woods Off so all I could do was whack them with my flip-flop.

We surrendered after awhile and went back to have our G&T's.

Black Whale for dinner.  I had broiled seafood combo, Liz had crabcakes.  Went to Buckalew's for Irish night with Mike Byrne.

Rode bikes to the Sand Bar for lunch before the beach.  I had the tuna taco and Liz had a chicken Caesar wrap.  Stopped at Murphy's and bought basil.

Dinner at John and MaryAnn's with Lorraine, Mario, Michelle, Darren and Karie.  Hamburgers and Hot Dogs.  We brought Blueberry pie from Holiday Snack Bar that wasn't so great.  Got Ice Cream and Sanitary napkins at Murphy's.

We went to breakfast at the Dockside diner, courtesy of John and MaryAnn.  Liz and I rode our bikes there.  Karie came to our house with Michael and we all hung on the deck.

Once they found out that the house was ready, I helped John and MaryAnn move into their house.  While I was gone Liz spilled cleaner all over our bed so beach time was replaced by Laundromat time where we had wash all bedding.  We had to sleep in twin room for 3 nights till mattress dried out.

Went to see the Judd Hirsch play "ART".

After we went to Buckalews', met Michelle and Darren and their friends Tom Leziak and his S.O. Stephanie.  Liz and I shared a pizza.  Band was Ridgemont High (80's).

Today is the day we return to LBI but the house closing is today.  I am not attending anything but want to wait till I know it is done.  Otherwise I could have left last night.

We did a lot of running around a lot in Kinnelon area.  Sports Authority, Pathmark, Chase bank.  Left for LBI about 3:30pm and dealt with a lot of traffic.  We probably didn't arrive till 6:30 or so.

John & MaryAnn stayed with us.  It started to rain and we attempted dinner at the Black Whale 1.5 hour wait so we checked in at Tucker's, another long wait.  MaryAnn called the Engleside got a reservation, we got seated early and had a great dinner.  I had Chilean Sea Bass, Liz had flounder francaise.
